ROW Series III Event 3 - "THE ABYSS"
I have been worried about this one for awhile. Its not super long but the way its programmed, its going to be a sufferfest right out of the gate. Longish warm-up and although not super motivated I just started. I was thrilled how I felt in the first 250 and even the second 250 felt pretty good. By the third 250 I felt like i was underwater. Doubt didnt creep in, it actually raced in and was urging me to throw in the towel. Suffered thru that part and then hit the last 250. This is when Dave M showed up and leant some heavy support which was just what I needed to finish strong. Thanks Dave!

Craic Olympics

The Craic Olypics are always fun but they take a lot longer than I think they will.  Got up early to watch the France world cup game and rowed 7k while watching.

800m Run by 200 with weighted vest -finished 2nd in heat

Rowing 2 hours- did about 12 rounds of rowing.

I hadnt really planned on doing this again but when I say Brendan's score posted I decided to take another shot at it. Worst case its good training, best case I improve.

Soccer

A game that we could have won.  We had 12 to start but we knew this was going to be a problem when Burke and I had to split.    We went down 1-0.   I got a nice pass and got in for a finish.  They scored again in the 2nd half and then right before I had to leave I got free on the flank got deep and hit a drive ball across the box which the back mishandled into his own net.   I left with a 2-2 tie.  I was hoping we could park the bus and get a point.  We ended up losing 5-2.
